Background

Our smart phones and digital cameras have become an indispensable way to capture moments in our life through digital photos.  Writing notes into the photo goes a long way to provide more meaning to those moments, which could otherwise get lost as our memory fades.

In addition to storing the image itself, digital photos can also store a whole lot of (EXIF) metadata,  such as the camera model and shutter speed.  These are automatically captured by the camera software when the photo is taken.

Your notes can also be stored in the digital photo’s metadata.  That’s where PixaScribe helps you!  And much more.

The App

PixaScribe provides a convenient way to add a description (among the other metadata fields) that always stay with your photo even when you copy it elsewhere.

  • Update Description, Comments, Artist & Copyright
  • Browse other fields created by your camera such as ISO, Aperture, White Balance, GPS location, etc.
  • Remove all or selected groups of metadata fields
  • Batch updates and removals to several photos at a go

All this from the convenience of your Android phone or tablet - even without an internet connection.  You can do this while you are abroad (without mobile roaming charges) or on your holiday flight while you reminisce your happy moments!
